It is difficult to state exactly how many therapy sessions you will need at the beginning of treatment but as a rough guide, for a recent single problem of less that 12-18 months duration 6-10 sessions will generally be sufficient.

For problems with a longer history or where there is more than one problem 10-20 sessions may be needed. However, it is important to remember that people get better in their own time and therefore may require more or less sessions than stated here.

Throughout your therapy it is important that you monitor it's effectiveness and if you do not feel that CBT is helping you please do discuss this with me.

ASSESSMENT

The fees for the initial session is £75.00 as this session can take up to one and a half hours to complete.

If you decide after the initial assessment to go ahead with treatment and are willing to give your consent, I would like to be able to inform your GP or Consultant that I will be seeing you for therapy. However, if you choose not to give your consent I will respect your decision.

SESSIONS

Following the Assessment all sessions will charged at £60.00 for one hour if paid for on the day or £275.00 for 5 sessions if paid in advance.

These charges will remain the same throughout your treatment.

All charges are payable only by cheque or cash on the day of your appointment.

Cancellation charges will apply if less than 24 hours notice of your wish to cancel is given or the session is cancelled on the day of therapy. The cancellation charge will be the full session charge.

It is important to note that if you are paying for sessions on the day, your next session will cost £120.00 to cover the cancellation charge. Or if you have paid in advance one of your sessions will be forfeited.

Extra charges will be made for the following: 
- Copies of your assessment and or discharge report. 
- Reports and correspondence to a 3rd party
